Catering

Archbishop McGrath Catholic high School operates a ‘Cashless Catering’ ‘system which  gives parents and carers an alternative method of paying for school meals. This System reduces queues at lunch time, provides anonymous free school meals to pupils and allows monies to be pre-paid for dinner money. Further information on the system provided by Nationwide Retail Systems Limited can be found at www.nrsltd.com

The school requires the consent of at least one parent in order that biometric data for your child can be processed and parents are asked to complete the consent form.

This system provides an efficient quality of service, as well as a number of clear benefits for students and parents. This system incorporates the latest technology and eliminates the need for students to carry cash. It also will provide anonymity for those entitled to free school meals.

The daily allocation for free school meals is £2.50 if your child would like to purchase additional food please ensure that the account is topped up online via the BCBC pay it website. Pupils have unique cashless numbers. You will need this number to order from the canteen and to top up the cashless account online.

Pupils who are eligible for free school meals will have their accounts topped up automatically at the start of each week.
